The Flagship · Overview

An executive’s credibility, authority, and ability to hold a team steady are tested most in the moments no one prepared them for. This program prepares them for exactly those moments.

Crisis Response Policy

Decision frameworks leaders can apply under pressure — and defend afterward.

AI Governance

Adopt new tools institution-wide with oversight, accessibility, and accountability built in.

Workforce Readiness

Turn inclusion from a value statement into staffing systems that actually hold.

Curriculum

Six core modules. Two electives. One board-ready plan.

Each module pairs a live facilitated session with applied work against your own institution’s context — so leaders leave with policy, not just notes.

01

Leading With Credibility Under Scrutiny

Core module · Week 1
+

Establishes the foundation of executive authority: how credibility is built, spent, and rebuilt when an institution is being watched by families, regulators, boards, and press.

  • The credibility ledger: what earns and erodes executive trust
  • Communicating decisions that not everyone will like
  • Holding a position without becoming defensive or theatrical
02

Crisis-Response Decision Frameworks

Core module · Week 2–3
+

The heart of the program: repeatable decision structures leaders can run in real time, then document defensibly after the fact.

  • Triage frameworks for high-stakes, time-compressed decisions
  • Recognizing communication and disability differences under pressure
  • Building the record: documentation that protects staff and families alike
03

AI Governance for Institutions

Core module · Week 4–5
+

How to bring AI into an organization on purpose — with the guardrails a board, a union, and a compliance officer can all sign off on.

  • Drafting an institutional AI-use and oversight policy
  • Accessibility and equity review before deployment
  • Vendor evaluation and data-handling standards
04

Workforce Readiness & Inclusive Systems

Core module · Week 6
+

Moves inclusion from intention to infrastructure: the hiring, onboarding, and retention systems that make a workforce genuinely ready.

  • Designing roles and accommodations that scale
  • Retention systems for neurodivergent and high-need teams
  • Measuring readiness with metrics leadership can report
05

Governing Boards & Stakeholder Alignment

Core module · Week 7–8
+

Prepares directors to align a board, a leadership team, and external stakeholders behind a single, defensible direction.

  • Framing decisions for board approval and public accountability
  • Managing dissent without losing momentum
  • Reporting outcomes in the language funders and officials use
06

Capstone: Your Institutional Action Plan

Core module · Week 9–10
+

Every participant leaves with a customized action plan built against their own institution — reviewed by a facilitator and ready to present.

  • A crisis-response and governance plan specific to your organization
  • Facilitator review and revision cycle
  • A board-ready presentation of your plan
+

Electives — choose two

Tailor the certificate to your institution
+

Cohorts select two electives to focus the certificate on their environment:

  • Leading Across Cultures & Communities
  • Negotiation & Difficult Conversations
  • Change Leadership for Public Institutions
  • Communicating in a Public Crisis
  • Data, Documentation & Compliance
  • Funder & Grant Stewardship for Leaders
Outcomes

What your leadership will be able to do.

01

Set defensible policy for crisis response that protects staff, families, and the institution at once.

02

Govern AI adoption across the organization with oversight a board and compliance team will approve.

03

Lead under scrutiny — making and holding decisions when families, regulators, and press are watching.

04

Build inclusive workforce systems that survive turnover and translate into reportable metrics.

05

Align a board behind a single direction and report outcomes in funders’ and officials’ language.

06

Deliver an institutional action plan ready to present the week the program ends.

Questions

What district leaders ask first.

Why choose the AlaniJacobFoundation Institute over a generic PD vendor?
Most professional development ends with a slide deck and a sign-in sheet. This program ends with a completed, facilitator-reviewed action plan your leaders can present to a board — built around disability-aware, real-world institutional practice rather than generic management theory.
Can this be delivered to our entire district?
Yes. Programs are licensed for single cohorts, whole departments, or system-wide rollout, and are structured for public procurement — purchase orders, vendor documentation, contracting, and completion reporting are all part of how we deliver.
How much time does it require from our leaders?
The flagship runs ten weeks at three to five hours per week, blending live facilitated sessions with self-paced applied work — a cadence executives can sustain while running their institution.
What do participants walk away with?
A professional designation they carry after their name — for the flagship, the CELP (Certified Executive Leadership Professional) — plus a verifiable digital seal for LinkedIn, documented continuing-education hours, and the customized institutional action plan they built and can put to use immediately.
How is the program priced?
Published pricing is listed on this page so your team can budget directly: $25,000 per single cohort, $95,000 per year for a district license, and system-wide partnerships from $250,000. Larger or fully customized engagements are tailored, with a formal proposal your procurement team can process.
Do you deliver in person?
Yes — in person is our premium tier. We offer on-site Executive Lunch & Learns, half- and full-day Leadership Workshops, and a flagship full-day Executive Masterclass. Every in-person cohort concludes with the Cohort Impact Report, a board-ready analysis of your cohort’s outcomes. Travel and materials are quoted per location.
What is the Cohort Impact Report?
It’s the data deliverable each cohort receives on completion: pre- and post-program competency assessment, participation and completion analytics, a catalogue of the action plans your leaders produced, and benchmarked scoring your board and funders can cite. You don’t just leave with a certificate — you leave with proof.
Can we sponsor a leader — or be sponsored?
Yes. Through our Scholarship Fund, a district, foundation, or corporate partner can sponsor a seat, a team of five, or a full named scholarship for leaders whose organizations can’t yet afford the program. Sponsorships are charitable contributions made through Crystal Life Ministries, the Foundation’s parent organization, and sponsors are recognized in the Cohort Impact Report unless they prefer to remain anonymous.
Do we have to get on a sales call to enroll?
No. Pricing is published on this page and reflects fair-market value for the Maryland region. Choose your tier, confirm your cohort through the form below, and your procurement office automatically receives a PO-ready invoice, W-9, and vendor documents. No pitch, no pressure.
How do we start?
