Frequently asked questions
Is the event really free?
Yes. Attendance is free, but advance registration is required because seating and children’s activities space are limited.
Do I need a diagnosis, IEP, or 504 Plan to attend?
No. The event welcomes families raising children with disabilities, suspected support needs, IEPs, 504 Plans, and neurodivergent children, as well as professionals and community members who support them.
Are the children’s activities guaranteed?
Space is limited and requires separate confirmation from AJF after you register.
What accommodations are available?
ASL interpretation, a quiet sensory space, wheelchair access, and language interpretation can be requested on the registration form. Contact impact@crystal-life-ministries.com with any additional needs.
Where exactly is the event, and when will I get more details?
The event is at Bollman Bridge Elementary School, 8200 Savage Guilford Road, Jessup, MD 20794. Room assignment and parking details will be sent directly to confirmed registrants before the event.
Can professionals and community partners attend?
Yes. Educators, service providers, advocates, small business owners, and community partners are welcome.
